| The Istituto “L. Bottardi” is a secondary high school that specializes in foreign language teaching, in tourism matters and humanities. It has a wide experience in organizing conferences and meetings. It is the local examination centre for Trinity, Cambridge, DELF, DELE, TELC and ECDL certificates. The school is planning to become exam centre for LCCI International Qualifications. The school boasts a very skilled staff, particularly its foreign language teachers are highly qualified and always involved in teacher training, refresher and specialist action – research courses related to methodology, testing and evaluation. The school also provides computer science courses for the development of ICT. The School has always had an active role in local, national and international network projects, related to foreign language teaching, cultural heritage, arts, new technologies, multicultural integration, vocational training in the tourism industry. Due to this experience and to a wide participation within the European programmes in the last decade, including, Comenius, Grundtvig, Leonardo and Culture 2000, it has developed expertise in plurilingualism education based on CLIL. Continuous cooperation with local, national and international authorities has constantly increased the realization of international projects and for this reason it has contacts with various and numerous institutions: primary and secondary schools, Universities, education training centres, City Councils and Municipalities in Italy and abroad.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT
Within the project the Institute “Bottardi” will promote the activities of the project with the purpose of encouraging the development of CLIL classrooms in accordance with a pluricultural and plurilingual educational policy. It will be involved in the planning and organization of a training course aimed at the transfer of teaching approaches and techniques traditionally used in foreign language learning methodology to other subjects. The school staff will also be charged with the planning and organization of the final conference and it will have an active role in the strategy for the dissemination of the activities and results of the project.
