|  Blaise Pascal University:
Specialised university courses are provided in 4 major areas: Science and Technology, Literature, Languages and the Arts, Human and Social Sciences and Sports Science. The University has eleven constituent units: six faculties including five Institutes of Professional Studies, three higher Technological Institutes and Schools of Engineering, one university Institute of Technology and the Observatory of Global Physics.
The Hypermedia language centre of the Faculty of languages, business and communication has developed a "communicating lab" concept which achieved the European Commission's 2003 European Award for Languages. It aims to be a model for integrating multimedia into a communicative language teaching/learning strategy. The language centre has also developed a specialised collaborative e-learning platform. Experience using multimedia is to be found in certain Modern Foreign Languages departments (English, Spanish, Italian), in French as a foreign language and in the university-wide programme for language teaching. CLIL teaching takes place in certain classes such as Business or Web design.
 University of Auvergne:
The Institute of Technology of the University of Auvergne is working with Blaise Pascal university in this project. It also has experience teaching English with multimedia and using CLIL with computer science students.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT
Together with the Institute of Technology of the University of Auvergne, the participant organisation will be responsible for creating and maintaining the project website, publishing the newsletters. It will also be in charge of implementing and managing the software platform that will handle both the collaborative work of the partners in creating the course and the delivery of the online component of the national and transnational training courses. It will provide any necessary training in relation to the integration of ICT throughout the project.
 Certain members of staff with experience in CLIL will also contribute to courseware creation and to training teachers on a local or transnational basis.
